About the Blog

Bookish Comforts Manifesto

Bookish Comforts was “born” in late December 2012, as Rachelia loved ranting and raving about books and wanted to share her passion with others. While originally only Rachelia blogged here, Kaitlyn actually inspired the creation of the blog, so she’s been involved since the very beginning. In spring of 2013 Kaitlyn joined Rachelia as an official co-blogger on Bookish Comforts. At Bookish Comforts our goal is to have this blog be an eclectic little place where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and reconnect with one of the greatest pleasures in life — reading! It doesn’t matter if the books are brand new, or dusty and old, or even if they appear on your e-reader screen. All that matters is celebrating the joy of reading!
